Appearing on TLC’s I Am Jazz show was such a unique experience! How lucky am I to have been chosen to create a boudoir portrait session on a national cable television network?!?

If you don’t know the I Am Jazz show, it’s about a young woman’s journey as a transgender girl growing up and transitioning in front of the camera. She has a big family – mom, dad, two brothers and a sister – and they are all so supportive of her transition.  Mom (Jeannette) is a key feature on the show and this boudoir shoot came up because Mom needed a pampering day for herself.  She came to the right place!

On the day of the session, Jeannette, was met by her closest girlfriends at the studio and we popped open a bottle of champagne to celebrate. The rest of the session was hysterically funny, wonderfully exciting and her friends were beautifully supportive. You HAVE to watch the episode to get the full effect, but below are a few frames from the episode that I just love.

Enjoy!
