Oh, So Sarah!
Sarah is a passionate adventurer and world traveler. She’s also a gifted writer, photographer and all-around high-achieving, can’t-be-kept-down woman. Sarah publishes a beautiful travel blog called The Empty Nester’s Travels where it is her mission to inspire and empower folks to embark on new adventures, create unforgettable memories, and embrace the next chapter of their lives with open arms.
You can imagine how excited I was to meet Sarah and get on her itinerary! After reading about her world travels and adventures, not gonna lie, I was fan-girling a little bit. She clearly is the type of woman who knows what she wants and goes for it. When she shared that she observed wild animals on a trip through Yellowstone National Park, she mentioned that the animals “moved instinctively and unapologetically through life.” Wow, I thought, what a parallel with this powerhouse solo-traveler.
Sarah came to me in Murphy, North Carolina from out-of-state for a very special photoshoot and brought with her the most amazing tailor-made gowns she had acquired from a bespoke shop in Ukraine. Sarah leaned into our Prep Guides, Inspiration work and our Pre-Session Consultation and together we designed a most fabulous experience for her. As with most of my clients, she arrived prepared with her outfits and jewelry to match, and left the rest to the magic of the day.
Each time she unpacked a dress, I gasped! We utilized both indoor and outdoor spaces at the studio and we created dynamic portraits that represented both her elegant spirit and her vibrant personality. We even through in some sexy poses too.
I enjoyed creating alongside Sarah and am excited to continue following her bold adventures!
