Power Couple Personal Branding
Let me introduce you to Ed and Alicia Boateng, a total power couple! I call them a power couple not because they are wildly successful (although they totally are; more on that in a second), but because these two work so well together. The are totally in sync - you haven’t seen a husband-wife team like this since Jay-Z and Beyonce. They always have each other’s back and they are always working together.
These multi-passionate entrepreneurs run two distinct businesses. They are successful realtors and they have a beautiful company called Alicia Boateng Designs where Alicia hand makes these beauuuutiful mugs (see below). The mugs are even popular with celebrities such as Octavia Spencer, Tiffany Haddish, Kim Fields, and Whoopie Goldberg and have been featured on national media outlets such as Forbes, MSN, Food Network, and many more.
When Ed and Alicia came to me for a Personal Branding photoshoot that covered both their brands. So how do you meld together two seemingly different brands? You go to the very CORE of their personhood. After all, they are the heart and soul of each business, and no matter what they are selling, this couple will always be professional, exuberant and always in honor of excellence.
Through my Branding Analysis Consultation, we uncovered the different sets and wardrobe looks that they needed to cover their marketing needs and to identify the message that their ideal clients need to understand the moment they lay their eyes on these images. We created a robust stockpile of images that they now have for their website, social media, speaking engagements, book covers, magazine articles and anything else they can think of!
