Destination Couples Boudoir Photography

Shooting Couples Boudoir portraits in my Fort Lauderdale studio is so much fun! This fabulous young couple had planned their shoot for months before their big day arrived. They came to me from Jacksonville, Florida and created a week-long anniversary celebration vacation around their session.

We did 3 different looks showing different facets of their personalities and their relationship - some stylish and editorial-style images that were seriously fierce and even had a fun, little dance party for the camera. The portraits really captured their fun-loving nature and their easy-going relationship. I swear we were laughing the whole time!

My favorite portraits, however, were these boudoir images. We set up a sweet and simple bedroom scene and everyone got to be themselves. In a couples boudoir session, we always talk in advance about what the clients want to capture. As much as creativity is a big part of a session, so is consent and boundaries. It’s all about creating a custom experience!

I really think these two had such a wonderful experience and created such intimate portraits because they came relaxed and ready to go with the flow as much as they came prepared with clarity on their desires. As I always say, make a plan and leave a little room for magic!

What really suprised me was the beautiful testimonial they posted on Google. Just look at the inner work, transformation and empowerment that resulted from this fun experience! It is such an honor to be able to create an experience that serves as a catalyst for personal growth, celebrates a relationship and creates memories for a lifetime. I am grateful everyday.
